i'm still alive! just busy entertaining my penpal of TWENTY years, Philippa. (Heather, we miss you!) so far, we have:
+gotten beauty treatments
+shopped on 24th Street
+had high tea at Lovejoy's with K
+shopped downtown and at the new SF Centre
+flirted with Scott at the Apple Store (not me!)
+had dinner at Bissap Baobab with Melissa and K
+had lunch with K at Boudin at the Wharf
+had photo booth photos done at the Musee Mecanique
+seen and smelled the sea lions on Pier 39
+shopped at about a million GAPs
+been to the BeneFit store on Chestnut
+eaten at Johnny Rockets
today, we'll work out (i'm at work right now) and then lunch at Regent Thai... finish up Phils's shopping (and boosting of the U.S. economy). this evening, we may take in a movie.
hope everyone is having a great tuesday! i leave for Texas on thursday.

i can't believe you've been penpals for that long. i find it impossible to keep in contact with anyone who doesn't fit one of these categories:
1) is my boyfriend
2) lives with me

i am finally feeling better, days later. almost feeling normal after spending the past 4 days basically lying around.
